# Trade page

> The /trade page: how prices and sides read, the chart, the order book with AMM depth, recent trades, the Market, Limit, Stop and DCA forms, and the tables of your orders and balances.

The trade page is the exchange-style view of one pair: a chart, the order book, recent trades and an order panel side by side, with your orders, balances and token facts below. Like [/swap](/docs/swapping), everything happens in your browser and your wallet.

## Opening a pair

- The address is `/trade/<base>-<quote>?chain=bsc`, with symbols (`/trade/BNB-USDT`) or token addresses (`/trade/0x…-0x…`). `/trade` alone opens the chain's default pair, BNB/USDT on BNB Chain.
- Click the base or the quote token in the pair bar to pick another token; ⇄ inverts the pair.
- The **Pro ↗** link in the head of the /swap card opens the card's pair here.
- `tab` (`market`, `limit`, `stop` or `dca`) and `side` (`buy` or `sell`) in the address open the order panel in that state.

## Prices are quote per base

Every price on the page is the amount of the **quote** token for one **base** token: on BNB/USDT, USDT per BNB. **Buy** pays the quote token and receives the base token; **Sell** pays the base token and receives the quote token. The price you type follows the side:

- When you **buy**, your price is a **max price**: the most you pay per base token.
- When you **sell**, your price is a **min price**: the least you accept per base token.

The same reading applies to the chart, the order book, the trades and your orders table, where a purchase shows its max price and a sale its min price. Stop orders always sell the base token, so the Buy side is disabled on the Stop tab.

## Pair bar

The last price, the 24-hour change, high and low and the 24-hour volume come from the Tirio API's `/pairstats`, computed from the same candles as the chart; the liquidity of the pair's main pool comes from `/market`.

## Chart

Candles and volume come from the Tirio API's `/candles` and are drawn with TradingView's Lightweight Charts.

- **Recent candles** are built from the swaps Tirio's own follower records on the pair's most traded pool, block by block (recorded since 2026-10-01).
- **Older history** comes from GeckoTerminal's public market data, fetched by Tirio's server and cached; your browser never contacts GeckoTerminal. Where both have a candle, Tirio's recording wins.
- Timeframes: 1m, 5m, 15m (the default), 1h, 4h and 1d. Scrolling to the left loads older candles.
- When Tirio knows no candles for a pair, the chart shows a line of the last 24 hours of spot prices that Tirio reads from the pools it routes through, or says that there is no chart data yet. When the older history cannot be read right now, the chart shows only the recorded candles and says so, or says the history is unavailable and keeps retrying. While the API does not answer, the chart is marked as delayed.
- Your open limit, stop and take-profit orders on the pair are drawn as dashed lines at their prices.
- Under the chart, a link opens the pool on GeckoTerminal when the history comes from there, and **Charts by TradingView** credits the chart library.

## Order book

The panel lists the limit orders that are listed on Tirio's order book for the pair (see [Orders](/docs/orders)): sell orders (asks) above, buy orders (bids) below, each price level with its size in the base token and its number of orders, and the mid price and spread between them. Prices are the makers' net limit prices. The book refreshes every 5 seconds. Click a level to put its price into the Limit form.

Below the book, **AMM depth** plots how far the pools' price moves as more of the base token is bought or sold, for trades worth about $100 to $300 000 on each side along the best pool path. Swaps route through the pools Tirio reads and through the book, so the two together show the liquidity a trade meets. Both come from the Tirio API's `/book`.

## Trades

The latest trades of the pair's main pool from the Tirio API's `/trades`: the swaps Tirio's follower recorded, followed by older trades from GeckoTerminal's market data (fetched by Tirio's server) when fewer than 50 are recorded. Each row shows the price, the size in the base token and the time, green for buys and red for sells, and links to the transaction on the explorer.

## Order panel

The tabs are **Market**, **Limit**, **Stop** and **DCA**, with the **Buy** and **Sell** switch next to them.

### Market

A swap at the best route across the pools Tirio reads, with the same indicative price, review, quote, checks and simulation as [/swap](/docs/swapping). Type the amount you pay (or use 25 %, 50 %, 75 % or Max of your balance) and the panel shows, from the indicative price, what you receive, the average price, the price impact, the Tirio fee, the network fee and your max slippage (the ⚙ button opens the settings); **Review** gets the simulated quote, which adds the minimum received. From 5 % price impact a notice appears; from 15 % the button stays disabled until you press **I understand**, then reads **Buy … anyway** or **Sell … anyway**.

### Limit, Stop and DCA

The order forms described in [Orders](/docs/orders), priced as quote per base. A limit or stop order waits on **Reading the market price…** until the market price for your amount has arrived (an indicative price from the API, not a simulated quote), so it can be compared with the market. The form then warns, in red, when:

- your limit price is more than 5 % worse than the market price (the order would fill at once, and you would get that much less than a swap pays now);
- your stop price is at or above the market price (the keeper sells as soon as the order is placed);
- your take-profit price is at or below the market price (it fills as soon as the order is placed);
- the market price is unavailable, so Tirio cannot tell whether the order would fill at once.

Every warning has to be accepted with **I understand** before the button turns into **Place … anyway**. The acceptance belongs to that exact order and the warnings it saw: a new amount, price or warning asks again.

While a swap or an order is being signed or mined, the page holds still: clicks on the order book, tab and side changes, pair changes and network changes are ignored, so the form cannot show another order than the one you are signing.

## Your orders

The orders table lists the connected wallet's orders on this chain under three tabs:

- **Open**: every open order, with **Cancel**, and **Pause**, **Resume** and **Edit** for DCA orders. With more than one open order, **Cancel all** closes them in one transaction.
- **History**: filled, cancelled and expired orders with their status.
- **Fills**: every order that has filled at least in part, with a link to all payouts to your wallet on the explorer.

Each row shows the pair, the order type (Limit, Stop, Stop + TP or DCA, with **Book** for listed orders and **Paused** for paused ones), the order number, its price in quote per base with the inverse beside it, the stop and worst prices or the take-profit and DCA bounds where they apply, how much has been sold, the slices filled and the next slice for DCA, and what you received with the average price. An open order past its expiry is marked **Expired · refund pending**. If a payout could not be sent to you, **Waiting for you to claim** lists the amounts with a **Claim** button. The table shows the latest 200 orders and refreshes every 10 seconds while you have orders.

**Edit** on a DCA order reads the order from the chain and lets you change the slices left, the interval, the price protection and the optional second bound.

## Balances and token info

**Balances** lists the tokens of the Tirio token list the connected wallet holds, with USD values from the Tirio API and their total; balances under $1 are hidden unless you untick the box. **Token info** shows, for both tokens of the pair, the USD price, the 24-hour change, market cap, fully diluted value, liquidity, 24-hour volume and the contract address (for the native coin, its wrapped token) with an explorer link and a copy button. These come from the Tirio API's `/market`, which takes them from GeckoTerminal's market data on the server and caches them for an hour.

## Where the data comes from

Everything on the page comes from the Tirio API and the chain; your browser does not contact GeckoTerminal.

| Panel | Source |
| --- | --- |
| Chart | `/candles`: Tirio's recorded swaps since 2026-10-01, older history from GeckoTerminal through Tirio's server |
| Trades | `/trades`: Tirio's recorded swaps, older trades from GeckoTerminal through Tirio's server |
| Pair bar | `/pairstats` and `/market` |
| Token info | `/market`: GeckoTerminal market data through Tirio's server, cached for an hour |
| Order book and AMM depth | `/book`: open orders read from the Orders contract and the pools Tirio routes through |
| Balances, quotes and orders | Your wallet's balances from the chain, USD values, quotes and order transactions from the Tirio API |

Tirio's server asks GeckoTerminal only for public pool and token addresses; your IP address and wallet are not passed on. Your wallet's balances are read by your browser from public BNB Chain RPC endpoints. The app itself sends no telemetry.
