FAQ
Short answers about aggregation, liquidity, custody, fees, quotes, wallets and chains.
What is a DEX aggregator?
Instead of trading on one exchange, Tirio checks the pools of every DEX it tracks on the chain and splits your order across the best combination of them, so a trade loses less to price impact than it would in a single pool.
What liquidity can Tirio reach?
Every pool of the classic and concentrated-liquidity DEXes it tracks on BNB Chain. Robinhood Chain, with its tokenized stock pools, comes next, and more venues are added after launch.
Does Tirio hold my funds?
No. You trade straight from your wallet and every swap settles in one transaction: the Router pays the output to you and reverts the whole swap if you would receive less than your minimum. The contracts keep no user funds or allowances between transactions.
What are the fees?
Tirio charges 1 bps (0.01 %) of the amount you sell, taken from the input by the Router. There are no hidden fees, spreads or markups. You also pay network gas and the fees of the pools on your route, as you would trading on them directly. The contract caps the Tirio fee at 100 bps.
How fast are quotes?
Well under a second. Every quote reads the pools' current state from the chain and simulates the route before answering; if the chain cannot be reached, quotes pause instead of returning stale prices.
How are quotes checked?
Every route is simulated on chain before the quote is returned, and the simulated output and gas are what you see. A route that fails in simulation is dropped and the order is routed again without those pools. Tokens with transfer taxes are detected and the quote already includes the tax. The app then verifies in your browser that the transaction targets the Router and encodes exactly the tokens, amount, recipient, minimum and deadline you saw, and simulates it once more before your wallet opens.
What do "Exact quote", "Estimated" and "Simulated" mean?
"Exact quote" means every leg of the route was quoted exactly. "Estimated" means some legs were interpolated between exact samples; the minimum received still protects you. "Simulated" means the complete transaction was simulated on chain before the quote was returned.
Do I need to approve BNB?
No. The native coin travels with the transaction. ERC-20 inputs need an allowance for the Router; by default the app approves the exact amount of each swap, and unlimited approval is an opt-in setting.
What happens if my swap fails?
If the pre-flight simulation fails, nothing is sent and the app shows the reason. If the transaction reverts on chain (for example because the price moved beyond your slippage before it was mined), nothing is swapped and only gas is spent. The Router never settles a partial swap.
Which wallets are supported?
Browser wallets such as MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, OKX and Trust, and the in-app browsers of mobile wallets. WalletConnect is not supported yet.
Which chains are supported?
BNB Chain today. Robinhood Chain is coming soon, then Ethereum and Arbitrum. The Router has the same address on every chain: 0x0000000000F315f7C21DcdF4885FB01064f58da5.
Is there an API?
Yes, a public read-only REST API returns the same quotes and transactions the app uses. See REST API.
Have the contracts been audited?
Not yet by a third party. They are covered by fuzz and invariant suites, mainnet-fork tests and full coverage of the contract sources. See Contracts.
